We have created a Teaching Guide for use in schools in conjunction with our book.
The teaching guide helps direct classroom discussions on things like modes of transportation available in the Napa Valley and local landmarks such as the Winship building and the Oxbow of the Napa River.
This teaching guide was created to go along with our school donation program.
We donated a book to every public school library in the Napa Valley School District, as well as many private schools.
If your school is interested in participating in this program, please send us a note.
In addition we held two competitions in each school. The Kindergarten and First Grade students will be participating in a Coloring Contest. The Second Grade and Third Grade students will be participating in a Writing Contest. One student for each school in each competition will be awarded a copy of “Maggie and Maddy: Adventures in Napa Valley.”
